Vintage 1939 Imperial Furniture Unusual Library Writing Desk. This is a solid and tight table, no loose joints. Measures 40" L x 24" W x 30 H. The top on this is actually removable and is held in place with clips of a sort underneath the top. Drawer pulls appear to be copper and in good condition. Top has a few ink stains and a 3 filled holes from what appears to have been a vise. From the makers mark under the desk this I believe is from 1939 but do your own research as well. I have spent weeks looking for this style of desk with the shape of the sides but have been unable to find another that looks like this one. Located in DeKalb Illinois 60115.
