Rare Vintage Dietzgen Industrial Drafting Table! Custom Quarter Sawn Oak Top!

US Industrial meets Mid Century Modern! Please note, this is has the rare smaller footprint than the common Deitzgen drafting tables allowing more options for placement and use. The base is fully functional industrial/Victorian cast iron from the Dietzgen Company of Chicago in the early 1900's. It has been stripped down to original cast iron, hand brushed and finished with lacquer over a black wash. The top is custom made of 5/4 quarter sawn oak with dark wenge accents.

Table is constructed using large floating splines to ensure stability. The bottom of the table is also finished to highlight the cast iron mechanics. It is finished with 5 coats of hand applied satin General Finishes poly.

The table rises from 32" to 38" with the hand crank wheel. The table will arrive with the base and top package separately. It assembles easily with 8 bolts but a two person team is suggested.

Assembly should take no more than 10 minutes. This is a rare one of a kind find finished to the highest of standards.
