Antique Tall Globe Wernicke Quarter Sawn Oak Barrister Lawyer Bookcase 6 Stacks Circa 1900's. Extremely tall Globe Wernicke 6 stack bookcase.

Beautiful tiger (quarter sawn) oak. Attributed to Globe Wernicke by the construction and the quality.

Each stack is for tall books. Most of the ones made were for the common size books at the time... Today books are taller which make this bookcase nice to find. Comes apart for moving purposes: each stack is a separate piece and the top and bottom are separate pieces. Doors slide up and into each box for easy access to your books or collectibles. This is an original piece made in the early 1900s. Exterior dimensions: Height is about 93 3/4 inch, Depth at base is about 12 inch, Width is about 34 inch. Some normal and typical expected wear on the finish such as small scratches and marks. Variations in the color from the sun etc. 2 of the stacks have darker interior back which would be hidden by books. Some imperfections in the glass such as waviness, bubbles, wear, and scratches.
