Attractive Antique Victorian Oak Drop Leaf Secretary with Oval Beveled Mirror, Cubbyholes, 3 Drawers, 2 Doors, 2 Shelves. Base dimensions are 14" deep x 28" wide x 58 inches high (shown).

About 75 pound desk on old wooden castors and and scroll feet (shown). Oval and beveled mirror is 8.5 inches wide (picture shown). Hinged drop leaf is approximately 16 inches deep (shown).

Backing boards are 9 inches wide. Bold stencil on back reads 131. Similar in style and function to a Larkin turn-of-the-century Secretary but not marked with their circular label.

Wood and 4-footed base sturdy and fine (shown). Top excellent and sturdy with no chips or scratches but dark ring on top shelf (shown). Drop leaf hinges and bracing brackets fine but given the age, I would not lean on the open leaf. I've had this for years from when I lived and bought it in Pennsylvania. An elegant show piece which only held my very valuable papers!

No keys for the locks. Wooden swivel castors old so I wouldn't wheel it around; just lift it if you need to move it.
